Diapers are one of the biggest expenses you will have when you bring your little one home with you. The diaper changes never end!
Did you know that the average Canadian baby uses up to 8,000 diapers by the time they’re 3 years old? To help, we’ve put together this list of where you can get diapers for FREE to help your family save money.
1. Nestlé Baby & me
When you sign up for a membership with Nestlé Baby & me you can expect a free baby pack, filled with samples, coupons, and more! In the past Nestlé has included: a diaper bag, a reusable change pad, a pack of diapers, a bottle, formula, and baby cereal along with lots of coupons.
2. Thyme Maternity
Thyme Maternity sells a great selection of stylish maternity clothes. They also have a Bump Benefits program which you can sign up for and receive a bunch of offers, free samples, and coupons worth up to $400. Previously their freebie has included diapers, wipes, diaper creams, bottles, baby lotion, coupons and more.
3. FamilyRated Club
Members of the FamilyRated Club have chances to receive free products that are tailored to families. In return FamilyRated asks for your honest opinion of the products after testing them.
You can receive items like: baby items, household cleaners (to help deal with the mess that comes hand in hand with having kids), snacks, and body wash for your little ones. Their offers change all the time, so stay up to date as we’re sure diapers will be a possible offer in the future.
Amazon sends parents a free box filled with gifts when they create an Amazon Baby Registry. To be eligible for this offer you need to be a current Prime member, have 20 registry items added to your list, and have a value of at least $25 purchased from your registry. The box can include items like diapers, wipes, nursing pads, and baby creams.
5. London Drugs

10. buybuy Baby
When you create your baby registry at a buybuy Baby store, you will receive a free goody bag! Your goody bag will have great items like diapers, wipes, and a pacifier.
You can collect points of eligible Pampers’ products. They will come with a coupon code that you can redeem online for points. When you have enough points collected you can trade them in for more diapers, baby items, household products, and more. To get started, sign up for the Pampers Club online.

13. Baby shows
Although admission is often required, you can collect a lot of free samples from attending a baby show including diapers and other products for your little one from the vendors. Bring a reusable shopping bag with you to help collect all of your free loot!
14. Doctor’s offices and hospitals
Some hospitals and doctor’s offices such as pediatricians offer free baby products before or after you have your baby. This can include diapers, baby products, diaper bags, or lactation consultations. Ask your healthcare provider if they provide any of these items.
15. Online marketplaces
Take a look at online marketplaces like Kijiji, Craigslist, or buy sell groups on Facebook. Many parents give new diapers away for free if their child goes through a growth spurt and outgrows their previous size.
They also may give them away if they no longer like the diaper brand, or if their children become potty trained and no longer need the diapers they still have at their home. Check an online marketplace for your area to see if any are available and pay it forward when you find yourself in the same position!
16. Food banks
If you are struggling financially and are really in need of diapers, reach out to a local food bank. Many offer free diapers, baby items, as well as food items.
17. Reusable cloth diapers
A money-saving alternative to using disposable diapers, reusable cloth diapers are stylish, eco-friendly, chemical free, comfortable for your baby and relatively easy to clean. While about 95% of moms still use disposables, the popularity of reusables is steadily increasing every year.
Important Note: Current offers are subject to change. If this is not your first child, some of these offers may not be available to you if you have already received them in the past for a previous child.
